Vassilis Saleas(바실리스 살레아스)는 1958년 태어나서 어려서 부터 아버지와

삼촌에게서 클라리넷을 배웠다고 합니다. 한국에서는 `오라마`로 친숙한것으로 알고

있는데,  그리스에서는가장 `그리스적인 아티스트`로 커다란 명성을 날리고 있는

클라리넷 연주자 입니다. 바실리스 살레아스가 연주한 미키스 데오도라키스의 작품집.

그리스가 낳은 위대한 작곡가 겸 가수로 물론 대부분의 사람들에게는

생소한 이름이지만 올드 팬들의 기억에 남아있는 '니코스 카잔차키스' 소설을

토대로 한 65년 영화 '희랍인 조르바(Zorba The Greek)'의 영화 음악 작곡자로
한때는 그리스 음악의 대사 라는 호칭까지 얻었던 인물입니다.

Clarinet (클라리넷) 소리가 Vassilis Saleas와 함께하니까 참 오묘한 소리를 내지요.

스타트를 시작으로 하는 곡이지요.
그런데 Vassilis Saleas에 의해 아주 애잔한 소리로 변해 버리고 있습니다.
사람과 악기에 따라 음악은 여러가지 변화를 하고 있다는 말이 맞는것 같습니다.

 

Vangelis (Evangelos Odysseas Papathanassiou) (Greek: Ευάγγελος Οδυσσέας Παπαθανασίου [evˈaɲɟelos oðiˈseas papaθanaˈsiu]; born 29 March 1943) is a  Greek composer of electronic, progressive, ambient, jazz, pop rock and orchestral music, under the artist name Vangelis.  He is best known for his Academy Award-winning score for the film Chariots of Fire, composing scores for the films Blade Runner, 1492: Conquest of Paradise and Alexander, and the use of his music in the PBS documentary Cosmos: A Personal Voyage by Carl Sagan.

 

 

 

1492: Conquest of Paradise (French: 1492: Christophe Colomb) is an epic 1992 European adventure/drama film directed by Ridley Scott and written by Roselyne Bosch, which tells the story of the discovery of the New World by Christopher Columbus(Gérard Depardieu)  and the effect this had on the indigenous people.  The film was released for Paramount to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus' voyage. <Wikipedia>
