True Life by Nico

 

살아서는 전설이었고 죽어서는 신화가 된 가수 Nico는 스페인의 이비자(Ibiza)에서 자전거를 타던중에 뇌출혈로 갑자기 사망했습니다. 무려 180cm가 넘는 장신이었던 Nico는 콜로뉴(Cologne)에서 'Christa Paffgen'이란 이름으로 출생했고, 50년대 유명 패션잡지 Vogue의 모델도 한 유명한 가수 뿐 아니라 음악가, 배우로도 전 세계에 잘 알려졌습니다. 

 

 

 

Nico (born Christa Paffgen; 16 October 1938 - 18 July 1988) was a German singer, lyricist, composer, musician, fashion model, and actress, who initially rose to fame as a Warhol Super 1988 star in the 1960s. She is know fo rboth her vocal collaboration on The Velvet Underground's debut album, The Velvet Underground & Nico(1967), and her work as a solo artist from the late 1960s through the early 1980s. <Wikipedia>
