11 April Wed, 2012 OPEN DOORS [ 1 Corinthians 16:1 - 16:12 ] - hymn518 For a great and effective door has opened to me. - 1 Corinthians 16:9 The Danish philosopher SØren Kierkegaard (1813-1855) wrote: “If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but ... for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible.” The apostle Paul saw some great ministry possibilities in his life situa-tions. He used the open doors God provided to witness for Christ. When he was arrested in Jerusalem and appeared before Governor Felix, he used the opportunity to proclaim the gospel (Acts 24:24). While he and Silas were in prison, they shared the gospel with the Philippian jailer (Acts 16:25-34). And later Paul used his imprisonment in Rome as an opportu-nity to encourage the Philippian believers in their faith (Phil.1:12-18). In writing to the church at Corinth, Paul told the believers he wanted to visit and spend some time with them, but that he needed to stay in Ephesus because of an opportunity for ministry: “I will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost. For a great and effective door has opened to me”(1 Cor.16:8-9). And Paul also involved others by asking them to pray for open doors so he could speak clearly about Christ (Col.4:3). Ask God to show you possible open doors of service. [3] And when I come, whomever you approve by your letters I will send to bear your gift to Jerusalem. [4] But if it is fitting that I go also, they will go with me. [5] Now I will come to you when I pass through Macedonia (for I am passing through Macedonia). [6] And it may be that I will remain, or even spend the winter with you, that you may send me on my journey, wherever I go. [7] For I do not wish to see you now on the way; but I hope to stay a while with you, if the Lord permits. [8] But I will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost. [9] For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. [10] Now if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear; for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do. [11] Therefore let no one despise him. But send him on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I am waiting for him with the brethren. [12] Now concerning our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brethren, but he was quite unwilling to come at this time; however, he will come when he has a convenient time.

2012년 04월 11일 (수) 열린 문 [ 고린도전서 16:1 - 16:12 ] - 찬송가 518장 내게 광대하고 유효한 문이 열렸으나 - 고린도전서 16:9 덴마크 철학자 쇠렌 키에르케고르(1813-1855)는 다음과 같이 썼습니다. “만일 내가 무엇인가 바랄 수 있다면, 나는 부나 권력을 구하지 않고...언제나 변함없이 젊고 열정적인 눈으로 가능성을 볼 수 있기를 바랄 것이다.” 바울사도는 그의 삶에서 몇 번의 커다란 전도의 가능성을 보았습니다. 그는 하나님이 열어주신 문들을 그리스도를 전하는 데 사용했습니다. 예루살렘에서 체포되어 총독 벨릭스 앞에 섰을 때 그는 그것을 복음을 선포하는 기회로 사용했고(행 24:24), 실라와 함께 빌립보의 감옥에 갇혀 있을 때에도 간수에게 복음을 전했습니다(행 16:25-34). 그리고 후에도 로마에서의 감옥 생활을 빌립보 교인들의 믿음을 격려하는 기회로 활용했습니다(빌 1:12-18). 고린도교회에 보낸 서신에서 바울은 고린도교회를 방문해서 그들과 함께 시간을 보내기를 원하지만 아직은 에베소에서 전도할 기회가 있으므로 그곳에 머물러야만 한다고 말했습니다. “내가 오순절까지 에베소에 머물려 함은 내게 광대하고 유효한 문이 열렸으나”(고전 16:8-9). 그리고 바울은 그리스도의 비밀을 전할수 있도록 전도의 문을 열어달라는 기도를 부탁함으로써 다른 사람들도 그 일에 동참하게 했습니다(골 4:3). 섬길 수 있는 열린 문들을 보여 달라고 하나님께 기도하십시오. 하나님이 보여주시는 것을 보면 당신도 놀랄 것입니다.     예수님은 우리 모두에게 말씀하셨네 “네 십자가를 지고 나를 따르라” 성령님의 부르심을 느낀다면 그 기회를 꼭 붙잡으라! 하나님은 문의 한 쪽에는 기회를 다른 쪽에는 책임을 적어 놓으셨다. 고린도전서 16:1-12 [1] 성도를 위하는 연보에 대하여는 내가 갈라디아 교회들에게 명한 것 같이 너희도 그렇게 하라 [2] 매주일 첫날에 너희 각 사람이 이를 얻은 대로 저축하여 두어서 내가 갈 때에 연보를 하지 않게 하라 [3] 내가 이를 때에 너희의 인정한 사람에게 편지를 주어 너희의 은혜를 예루살렘으로 가지고 가게 하리니 [4] 만일 나도 가는 것이 합당하면 저희가 나와 함께 가리라 [5] 내가 마게도냐를 지날 터이니 마게도냐를 지난 후에 너희에게 나아가서 [6] 혹 너희와 함께 머물며 과동할 듯도 하니 이는 너희가 나를 나의 갈 곳으로 보내어 주게 하려 함이라 [7] 이제는 지나는 길에 너희 보기를 원치 아니하노니 이는 주께서 만일 허락하시면 얼마 동안 너희와 함께 유하기를 바람이라 [8] 내가 오순절까지 에베소에 유하려 함은 [9] 내게 광대하고 공효를 이루는 문이 열리고 대적하는 자가 많음이니라 [10] 디모데가 이르거든 너희는 조심하여 저로 두려움이 없이 너희 가운데 있게 하라 이는 저도 나와 같이 주의 일을 힘쓰는 자임이니라 [11] 그러므로 누구든지 저를 멸시하지 말고 평안히 보내어 내게로 오게 하라 나는 저가 형제들과 함께 오기를 기다리노라 [12] 형제 아볼로에 대하여는 저더러 형제들과 함께 너희에게 가라고 내가 많이 권하되 지금은 갈 뜻이 일절 없으나 기회가 있으면 가리라
