끝없는 탈출

 

 

자기를 가둔 감옥에서 탈출하려면
무엇보다 의식이 깨어 있어야 한다.
자기 인생에 대한 각성 없이는
벗어날 기약이 없다.

깨어 있는 사람만이
자기 몫의 삶을 제대로 살 수 있고,
깨어 있는 사람만이 
삶의 질을 높이기 위해
끝없는 탈출을 시도 한다.

참다운 삶이란 무엇인가.
욕구를 충족시키는 생활이 아니라
의미를 채우는 삶이어야 한다.
의미를 채우지 않으면 
삶은 빈 껍질이다.

Endless Escape 

 

 

If you seek escape from the prison that confines the self,

more than anything else, your consciousness must awaken. 

Without an awakening to one's own life,

there is no promise for escape.

 

Only those who are awakened

can live a life in proper accordance with their own share;

only those who are awakened

venture the endless escape

in order to deepen the quality of their lives.

 

What is it that we call a genuine life?

It is not a life style that satisfies our desires,

but can only be a life that fulfills meaning.

Without fulfilling meaning,

life is an empty husk.
