Date: 2011-11-12 Read:Exodus 15:22-27 THE ROAD TO BLESSING So [Moses] cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. ―Exodus 15:25 Hymn446 Robyn and Steve have a counseling ministry that provides very little income. Recently, a family crisis forced them to embark on a 5,000-mile round  trip in their well-used minivan.  After attending to the crisis, they started back to Michigan. While about 2,000 miles from home,  their van began to sputter and stall. A mechanic  looked at it and told them, “It’s done. You  need a new engine.”  In Exodus 15, the Israelites were led by God  into the desert. Three days into their trip, they  ran out of water and had no way to get it. But  God knew about the problem. In fact, a  solution awaited them in Marah (v.25) and Elim  (v.27). God not only fixed their water problem  but also provided a place to rest.  Even when our situation looks difficult, we can  trust that God is leading. He already knows  what we’ll need when we get there.  ―Dave Branon  I know not by what methods rare  The Lord provides for me;  I only know that all my needs  He meets so graciously. ―Adams Facing an impossibility gives  us the opportunity to trust God.

날짜: 2011-11-12 출애굽기 15:22-27 축복으로 가는 길 모세가 여호와께 부르짖었더니 여호와께서 그에게 한 나무를 지시하시니－출애굽기 15:25 찬송가446 로빈과 스티브는 수입이 거의 없는 상담사역을 하고 있습니다. 최근에 집안에큰 일이 생겨서 그들은 오래된 승합차로 왕복 8,000킬로미터의 여행길에 오르게 되었습니다.  그 집안일이 끝난 후 그들은 다시 미시간을 향해 출발했습니다. 집을 떠난 지 약 3,200 킬로미터 정도에서 차가 털털거리더니 멈추어 섰습니다. 정비공이 점검을 하더니 “수명이 다 되었군요. 새 엔진이 필요합니다.”라고 말했습니다.  출애굽기 15장에서 이스라엘 사람들은 하나님의 인도로 광야로 향합니다. 떠난 지 삼일 만에 물이 떨어졌고, 구할 수도 없었습니다. 그러나 하나님은 문제를 아셨습니다. 실제로 마라(25절)와 엘림(27절)에서 해답이 기다리고 있었습니다. 하나님은 물 문제만 해결해 주신 것이 아니라 쉴 곳도 마련해주셨던 것입니다.  우리가 처한 상황이 어렵게 여겨질지라도 하나님께서 우리를 인도하신다는 것을 믿을 수 있습니다. 하나님은 우리가 그 상황에서 필요한 것이 무엇인지를 이미 알고 계십니다.  주님이 어떤 방법으로 채워 주실지  내가 알 수는 없지만  내게 필요한 모든 것들을  자비롭게 베풀어주심을 나는 확실히 아네 불가능한 상황이 닥쳤을 때에  하나님을 믿을 수 있는 기회가 온다.

Bitter Water Becomes Good

 ²² Moses led the Israelites away from the Red Sea into the Desert of Shur. They traveled for three days in the desert but found no water.²³ Then they came to Marah, where there was water, but they could not drink it because it was too bitter. (That is why the place was named Marah.^[a])²⁴ The people

 

grumbled to Moses and asked, "What will we drink?"

 ²⁵ So Moses cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When Moses threw the tree into the water, the water became good to drink.

   There the Lord gave the people a rule and a law to live by, and there he tested their loyalty to him.²⁶ He said, "You must obey the Lord your God and do what he says is right. If you obey all his commands and keep his rules, I will not bring on you any of the sicknesses I brought on the Egyptians. I am the Lord who heals you."

 ²⁷ Then the people traveled to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees. So the people camped there near the water.
