Date: 2011-11-21 Read:Exodus 31:1-5 The Craftsman’s Touch We are His workmanship, created in Christ  Jesus for good works. -Ephesians 2:10 Hymn217 I recently saw a documentary about the making of a Steinway piano. It traced the meticulous  care that goes into crafting this fine instrument.  From the cutting of trees until the piano  appears on a showroom floor, it goes through  countless delicate adjustments by skilled craf-  tsmen. When the year-long process is complete,  accomplished musicians play the piano and often  comment on how the same rich sounds could  never be produced by a computerized assembly  line. The secret to the final product is the  craftsman’s touch.  When the tabernacle was built, we see that God also valued the craftsman’s touch. He chose the craftsman Bezalel and said of him: “I have filled  him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in unde-  rstanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of  workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in  gold, in silver, in bronze, in cutting jewels for  setting, in carving wood” (Ex. 31:3-5).  Today God dwells in the hearts of believers. Yet  the call to craftsmanship has not ended. Now  each individual believer is God’s “workmanship”  (Eph. 2:10). The Master Craftsman is the Holy  Spirit, who chips away at flaws in our character  to make each of us like Jesus (Rom. 8:28-29).  And as we yield to His workmanship, we will  find that the secret to the final product is the  Craftsman’s touch.  The Spirit is the Craftsman  Who makes us like the Son;  He’ll mold and shape our being  Until His work is done. —Sper The Father gave us the Spirit to make  us like His Son.

날짜: 2011-11-21 출애굽기 31:1-5 장인의 손길 우리는 그의 만드신 바라 그리스도 예수 안에서 선한 일을 위하여 지으심을 받은 자니－에베소서 2:10 찬송가217 최근에 나는 스타인웨이 피아노를 만드는 과정을 다룬 다큐멘터리를 보았습니다. 이 훌륭한 악기를 만들기 위해 세심하게 주의를 기울이는 제작과정이 그 속에 나타나 있었습니다. 나무를 자를 때부터 매장에 전시될 때까지, 피아노는 숙련된 장인들에 의해 수많은 섬세한 과정을 거치게 됩니다. 일 년에 걸쳐 제작된 그 피아노를 연주하는 저명한 연주가들은 왜 그런 풍부한 음질이 기계화된 제조공정으로는 결코 만들어질 수 없는지에 대해 종종 의견을 말합니다. 그 피아노를 완성하는 비법은 장인의 손길입니다.  성막을 지을 때 하나님도 장인의 손길을 중요하게 여기신 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 하나님은 장인 브살렐을 지명하시고 그에 대해 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “하나님의 신을 그에게 충만하게 하여 지혜와 총명과 지식과 여러 가지 재주로 공교한 일을 연구하여 금과 은과 놋으로 만들게 하며 보석을 깎아 물리며 나무를 새겨서 여러 가지 일을 하게 하고”(출 31:3-5).  오늘날 하나님은 믿는 사람들의 마음속에 거하십니다. 하지만 장인 기술에 대한 요구는 끝나지 않았습니다. 이제는 믿는 자 개개인이 하나님의 “만드신 바”(엡 2:10)가 되었습니다. 우리 각자가 예수님을 닮아가도록 우리의 성격적 결함들을 깎아내는 최고의 장인은 성령님이십니다(롬 8:28-29). 우리를 성령님의 제조과정에 내어드릴 때, 최종의 완성품에 이르는 비밀이 장인의 손길인 것을 알게 될 것입니다.  우리를 하나님의 아들처럼 빚으시는  장인은 성령님이시라네  그분의 작품이 완성될 때까지  우리를 빚으시고 모양을 가꾸신다네 하나님 아버지는 우리를 당신의 아들처럼  만드시려고 성령님을 보내셨다.

 ^1 (A)Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, ² “See, I have called by name Bezalel, the ^(B)son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. ³ I have ^(C)filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of ^[a]craftsmanship, ⁴ to ^[b]make artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in ^[c]bronze, ⁵ and in the cutting of stones ^[d]for settings, and in the carving of wood, that he may work in all kinds of ^[e]craftsmanship.
